At about 7 years of age, cats' nutritional requirements change. Some senior cats, for example can start to show visible signs of ageing early - such as osteoarthritis, kidney disease and behavioural changes. Others may age slower and won't show obvious signs of ageing as quickly. It's important, therefore, to be aware of your cat's individual needs and to provide your pet with nutrition that's precisely suited to help maintain ideal body condition and health. The clinical signs of ageing are often hidden in cats so make sure you consult with your veterinarian on a regular basis. ROYAL CANIN MATURE CONSULT dry is a complete dietetic feed for cats formulated to reduce struvite stone recurrence through its urine undersaturating or metastabilising properties for struvite and/or urine acidifying properties.

RECOMMENDATIONS: For mature cats over the age of 7 years old without obvious signs of ageing, ideally after a senior health check.

COMPOSITION : Dehydrated poultry protein, maize, wheat gluten*, rice, wheat, maize gluten, vegetable fibres, hydrolysed animal proteins, minerals, chicory pulp, animal fats, fish oil, soya oil, dried tomato pulp (source of lycopene) (0.80%), psyllium husks and seeds, fructo-oligo-saccharides, hydrolysed yeast (source of manno-oligo-saccharides), glucosamine from fermentation (0.048%), marigold extract (source of lutein), hydrolysed cartilage (source of chondroitin) (0.00048%).
